Last month saw the celebration of a huge milestone for us at Listening Ears. The Rosebud Centre for Girls project marked its tenth year in service! From its modest origins at Mulberry Children’s Centre with just a handful of excitable young girls, we have now grown into a fully fledged centre and have supported more than 800 young women over the last 10 years.
We are grateful to everyone who has contributed to this great success from our funders (The Big Lottery / Communities Fund, BBC Children in Need, Comic Relief, Sainsburys, PlaySport London) to our partner organisations and friends (Hughy Bee Academy, Eye4Change, ROMEL Foundation, Greenwich Council, CAMHS, YMCA) our fantastic team of staff, facilitators volunteers. We are also grateful to our growing pool of generous supporters who have donated to the charity to support this young women’s project. Find out more about how you can support us.
Last but not least we want to thank our girls and their dedicated parents who have helped make the vision of empowering young women a reality. We are pleased to contribute in transforming our community and wider society by helping to raise a generation of young women who are confident, empowered and making positive choices.
