James Hamand is running a half marathon to help raise funds for Listening Ears via JustGiving James has already exceeded his fundraising target of £500 by over 200% doubling his initial target in just two weeks!
James said of the campaign;
“I am raising money for Listening Ears; a wonderful small charity which does fantastic work looking after a significant number of individuals affected by loneliness. A lot of attention is paid to physical illnesses and increasingly these days to mental illness, but isolation isn’t necessarily the cause or result of an identifiable disease. Nevertheless, the effects can be profound, but so too can the impact of charities like Listening Ears.”
