Collaborative Crafting with Greenwich Heritage Trust

Over a couple of workshops at our #FeelGood socials, we’ve been working with Viv Cameron from CraftA and the Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust #MeetTheCollection

We are excited to be given the opportunity to work together as a team using vibrant materials to produce a banner that will go into the museum collection as a record of history. We’re pleased to have made a small contribution to this process and we had a lot of fun doing it too!

The banner will later be on display at an exhibition in May 2022 at Charlton House Greenwich with everyone invited to attend. Look out from an update from us about what we are sure will be a stunning collaborative artwork.

“CraftA is a participatory textile art group “circling creativity in the community.” Passionate about sharing the importance of group creativity in improving therapeutic well-being and joy, they deliver workshops and events with community participants, deep in the heart of parts of #Greenwich often ignored. Working on this project are Carol Wood, a founding member of Blackheath Textile Artists and an expert in all forms of technical textile art techniques, and Viv Cameron, an artist in felt and textile sculpture.”
