Our second drop in centre launches on Friday 9th April 2010. The new centre opens every Friday. Labelled Feel Good Fridays, it is a community health and well being project run in partnership with NHS Greenwich. Age Concern, Active For Health and Volunteer Center Greenwich also provide free services at the centre. The centre is open to residents of Flowers estate and it’s surroundings. Qualified health trainers are also present to give one-to-one sessions and health checks and support for health behaviour changes. Treat yourself to an afternoon session of FREE relexology, massage, manicure and more on every first Friday of the month.
Listening Ears expands into Newham: Our Steps to Living’ workshop on Healthy Eating, Nutrition and Weight Management is now running in the London Borough of Newham and is open to all workers and residents in the area. Steps to Living is a health and total well being team programme. UPDATE: This programme is now concluded, but we hope to run another series as soon as we secure funding to do so. To take part in future sessions, you can send us an email to add your name to the waiting list.
Listening Ears is proud to announce the commencement of it’s weekly drop in sessions at Abbey Wood Community Centre, South East London. Local residents are invited to pop in for a chat or a cup of tea.
