In partnership with Reconcilers Radio, Listening Ears will launch a weekly chat show hosted by Toyin Ogunbanjo, dedicated to sharing and discussing ideas, challenges. The first broadcast will go out on Monday 1st May 2017 from 6pm – 8pm and will be on air at the same time weekly.

Progress Reports
Celebrating Black History Month
Listening Ears will be celebrating Black History Month with elderly people in the community from a range of ethnicities and backgrounds in a day of music, historical presentations, intergenerational activities and dance. We will be joined by young women at our youth project, Rosebud Centre for Girls, who will deliver live music and presentations on role models from the Black British community, the USA, Africa and the Caribbean. Our event will run from 12noon – 4pm. Do join us! Entry is free but donations are welcome.
Pellings LLP Selected Charity for 2015
Listening Ears have been selected by Pellings as one of their two selected charities to receive support in 2015. Along with the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Listening Ears is featured in the Pellings 2014 Christmas e-card. Pellings LLP is a long established architectural, property and construction consultancy provider with bases throughout the UK.

Young Women’s Zumba
Zumba dance fitness is back: In pursuance of our commitment to support members of our community to achieve improved health and total wellbeing, we are delighted to present another session of Zumba Dance Classes, this time exclusively for young women under 20. The dance sessions are an interesting way to keep fit, achieve and maintain a healthy weight while having fun at the same time. The sessions are on Wednesdays between 5pm and 7.00pm Participation is free but Registration is mandatory.

Steps 2 Living: Health and Well-Being
Listening Ears presents: Steps 2 Living, a 12 week health lifestyle program. Within a period of twelve weeks, Listening Ears intends to provide you with comprehensive information and enlightenment on how you can Eat, Cook and Live healthily. We will also support you to identify the Barriers that have prevented you for so long to eat and live healthily as a way of life. Holding your hands, we will support you to set achievable goals and take small steps at a time to achieve those goals. We will cap every week with The Zumba Dance sessions, which is a very practical, yet exciting way to work out and burn off all the unhealthy fat in your system.
Personal Development and Confidence Building Workshop
Confidence Building Workshops to start soon: Over the next four weeks, (one day a week) 12noon – 4pm every Wednesday, you have an opportunity to come around and benefit from the life-transforming workshop we are having on Confidence Building & Personal Development. This gives you the opportunity to Discover the “Real You” and receive the empowerment you need to fulfil your life ambition, whatever they may be.
Listening Ears Gains Charity Status
It’s Official! Listening Ears is delighted to be recognised as a bonafide UK Charity by the Charities Commission. This is the first of many exciting things to come in 2012.
2011 Christmas Party
Annual Christmas Festivities: Listening Ears in our usual fashion, held an annual Christmas party to celebrate 2011 and welcome 2012. The event was held at the Bostall Gardens Centre and included performances and an interactive Q&A session from Rosebud, its department for Teenagers and Young People.
