Community Angels

Community Angels is a project we have designed to reach out to members of our community who are isolated and lonely either by reason of old age, loss of spouse, health challenges or other reasons. Community Angels is part of our tackling isolation programme.

With the help and assistance of our committed volunteers, we provide companionship, emotional and lifestyle support for service users and encourage them to develop interactive skills which will ultimately improve their health as they gradually overcome their isolation.

We also provide a practical helping hand in little areas of life where they need support to enhance their quality of life and add value to their existence.

As part of our Community Angels programme, our Volunteers can support you with the following activities

  • Home visit and Health Walk
  • Have a chat with you
  • Accompany you for shopping
  • Assist to fill application forms
  • Help in collecting prescription
  • Support in the garden
  • Play Games
